Entering the Global Spirits Masters Competitions and getting your spirits in front of the industry’s top palates can be done easily in a few simple steps. Follow the process below to be sure to secure your place in the next competition on the schedule:
- On the Global Spirits Masters Competitions’ website, select the competition(s) that you’d like to get involved with. If you have any questions or are unsure about what competitions to enter, please don’t hesitate to contact the team on awards@thespiritsbusiness.com
- Click ‘enter now’ on your chosen competition(s) and you should be redirected to the online entry form, which you’ll need to fill in for each expression that you’d like to enter. Please note that different flavour expressions of the same product count as individual entries, as they will need to be judged in their own right and therefore will need to be entered separately
- Fully complete the entry form for each entry, and then return to the start of the previous step for the next expression or product that you would like to enter
- Entries should accumulate in your basket, which you can then pay for via card payment or by requesting an invoice
- Once you have entered and paid for your entries, kindly send 2 x 75cl or 3 x 50cl bottles, or 4 skus for RTDs, Pre-mixed cocktails, tonics and mixers to the below address:
The XXX Masters 202(2) – please include the name of the competition that you are sending samples to in the address, for example ‘The Gin Masters 2022’, in order to avoid samples being misplaced

Lastly, a few important notes on sending samples:
- Since Brexit, all wine & spirits that enter the UK require Duty & UK Vat to be paid, and it is part of the terms and conditions of entry that this is paid by the sender
- We cannot accept any shipments that are not DDP ( Delivery Duty Paid )
- When sending international packages there is a box to tick whether the duties are being paid by the Sender or Receiver, please tick ‘Sender’
- The carrier may not know the amount when sending and they will only agree to DDP if you hold an account with them
- To make the process easier, we strongly recommend that you include full details of the shipment, including the number of bottles/cans being sent and their size in volume, as well as the ABV % of the sample & its value
- When sending samples, please make it clear that the bottles/cans are samples and have no commercial value
We look forward to seeing you in the next competition, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions!
