In June 2018, The Spirits Business will be staging and celebrating 10 years of the Gin Masters, a competition that has grown year-on-year and witnessed the phenomenal explosion in popularity the category now enjoys worldwide.
We happily invite all brand owners, producers, distributors/importers and retailers to be part of the world’s most highly regarded series of blind-tasting competitions, in a drive to find and reward the finest and most outstanding brands on the world stage.
Gin’s favour among consumers has soared in recent years, but does that mean quality has been stretched thin? Not at all; last year’s Gin Masters 2017 competition showed the depth of excellence that exists within this thrilling sector.
Now in its 10th year, The Gin Masters 2018 offers an exciting chance to have your gin judged alongside industry peers in a blind-tasting competition that represents the widespread innovation across the category. From genever and flavoured gin to cask-aged and ultra-premium, the Spirits Masters eagerly awaits your entry.
A chaired panel of leading spirits and on-trade specialists will blind taste and judge what we hope will be our biggest number of entries to date and award The Gin Masters of 2018. Excellence will be judged on each entrant’s own merit and scored according to appearance, nose, taste and overall balance. Each entry is recognised according to category, age and price point.

•To enter The Global Gin Masters 2018, you must be one of the following: a brand owner, a producer, a distributor/importer or a retailer
• If you are not the brand owner, you must have written permission to enter the Masters Series.
• Awards will be given at the discretion of the judges
• The chairman’s decision is final.
